This certification has two foci — one for the career counselor/coach working with clients who wish to be self-employed, and a second for the counselor/coach to build their own counseling/coaching business.
Check out Dick’s books. They are practical guides from topics ranging from counseling, downsizing and building a career development program.
Dick has published the Career Network journal for several decades and it is sent to all members. Issues come out four times per year and are themed. Check out the journal here.
Every two months Dick sends out a newsletter with information on various career development events taking place and with columns written by specialists in the field of career development, counseling, and coaching. It too is free to members; a recent issue can be obtained here.
